Product Development Manager – Enterprise

Surfline Communications Limited, a Ghanaian owned private limited company, established in 2011 to provide wireless broadband and related services to the Ghanaian market, is looking for a senior candidate with the adequate skills and experience to be part of the Marketing Department of a new LTE player.
The company is expected to meet the emergent and largely unfulfilled data services needs of Ghana’s businesses, government agencies, professional communities and residential users. With this aim, Surfline is currently in the process of building a team of talented and experience people necessary to succeed.


Manage Enterprise Value Propositions and Product Life Cycle
Devise product pricing and positioning for existing offering and identify opportunities for new products and product line extensions
Generate product requirements and market requirements and work closely with engineering to help bring tailored solutions to Enterprise/Corporate/Business Market.
Develop business plans and financials to support product and customer requirements, for Enterprise/Corporate/Business Market.
Develop and manage Enterprise/Corporate/Business Value Propositions, product family roadmap.
Initiate product cost containment and reduction initiatives.
Market and promote Enterprise/Corporate/Business product family.


BA, MBA with 3-5 years of Product Development telecom industry experience.


Broad technical knowledge of telecommunications networks and systems such as: LTE, FTTx, Wireless Broadband, Cloud Computing, multimedia gateways and multimedia communications.
A sound understanding of different network architecture, implementations and applications.
Proven track record in management of complex programs.
Ability to deal at a high level with customers in a multicultural environment.
Strategic and analytical abilities.
Superior technical ability and network understanding is a must combined with commercial mindset and end-customer usage knowledge.
Proven strong customer focus.  Superior managerial and professional development skills; will demonstrate the ability to train and develop their subordinates. 
Ability to work in a fast moving, growing company, and able to be a single contributor as well as overall leader.
Provide strategic vision for product enhancement as well as guidance for day-to-day tactical issues. 
Ability to interface across multiple disciplines within one organization and achieve results. 
Must be a team player and able to go between sales and development and customers seamlessly.
Communication and negotiation skills
