To our Valued Customers - We are back!

I am glad to inform our customers and Ghanaians that we have fully restored services on our 4G LTE network as of 16th February 2015. As communicated last week, our central network equipment was affected by smoke from a fire on our premises, which resulted in loss of service within Accra & Tema.

On behalf of the Surfline team, I would like to extend our profound appreciation for your patience and support during the period of the outage. The genuine outpour of concern exhibited by our customers and stakeholders was inspiring. It was very encouraging for us - a young company with a vision of bringing a true mobile broadband experience and the possibilities it brings to Ghanaians - to see that so many people and businesses share in this vision.

 

Our Service is now even better

All through the past week, we provided our service for free to our customers as our engineers and partners worked quickly to restore our services to full capacity. 

We also took the opportunity to increase the capacity of our network in a bid to further improve the high service quality you have enjoyed since our commercial launch.

 

We appreciate your patience, support and loyalty

To show our appreciation for your support during the outage, all Surfline customers have been provided with complimentary data available for use from the 16th of February until 1st of March. We have also restored the data balance and account validity periods you had before the outage, and have also provided an extension to your validity periods.
